Meet Dr. Danny Wright

I truly love what I do. Helping to simplify something that can feel overwhelming for many and explaining it in a way that’s easy to understand is incredibly rewarding. I take pride in making a positive difference for children—whether it’s relieving their pain, boosting their self-confidence by improving their smile, or helping them overcome their fears and build resilience for the future. I also cherish the opportunity to connect with a wide variety of people I might not otherwise meet. Being part of their journey, watching them grow, and knowing I’ve played a small role in their lives is deeply fulfilling—and they, in turn, become a meaningful part of mine.

I was born in Houston, Texas but spent the majority of my youth in Beaumont, Texas, where I lived until finishing high school. I attended Texas A&M University from 1998 to 2002 where he received my B.S. in Biomedical Science. I then went on to earn my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2006. It did not take long for me to realize that my passion within the field of dentistry was in the prevention and provision of dental care for children. I pursued and received my postdoctoral certificate in pediatric dentistry again at the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio in 2008.

I understand that to provide the most comprehensive dental care for children, one must stay current on the latest treatment modalities through continuing education programs. This helps ensure we are on the leading edge of dentistry and able to take advantage of the latest technology to render the highest quality of care possible. In addition to continuing my education, I am also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association, and am a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

My wife, Kellie, also works in the dental field as a hygienist. We have been blessed with four children, Campbell, Hallie, Winnie, and Lucy, as well as a mini goldendoodle named Rosie. My time outside the office is spent outdoors, playing golf, pickleball, tennis, or coaching one of my kids' teams. We love traveling together as a family, whether we’re skiing or out on the lake.

Being active in the community allows me to connect and relate to those around me while also being able to serve others with the gifts with which I've been blessed. As a practice, we participate in the Save-a-Smile program, where we render dental treatment for free to children without the means to receive it otherwise. Twice a year, our office closes to allow the entire team to volunteer at Mission Arlington, where we dedicate our efforts to serving the community. I have also participated in numerous dental-focused mission trips abroad, traveling to countries such as Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala. These programs not only have a profound impact on the lives of those we serve, but have also been deeply transformative for me personally.
