Meet Dr. Emily Evetts

My role as a pediatric dentist goes beyond treating and caring for my patients, by also educating and inspiring children toward a future of better oral health. I am passionate about prevention and establishing healthy oral habits with my patients, as I believe this is the first step in helping children grow up to be healthy adults.

One of my favorite aspects of being a pediatric dentist is working with kids who were initially apprehensive and nervous and seeing a smile on their face by the end of our visit. It brings me so much joy helping to create a positive dental experience for each child that steps into our office, and of course, there’s nothing better than sharing smiles with my patients!

I wanted to be a dentist early on in life. I enjoyed going to the dentist and developed a strong interest in oral health thanks to my childhood dentist. He shared with me his experiences with dental mission trips and the gratification of volunteering his skills to those who greatly needed dental care.

My involvement and time volunteering with a non-profit children’s dental clinic while earning my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin solidified my desire to become a pediatric dentist. I attended Texas A&M University College of Dentistry for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, followed by training at the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for my pediatric dental residency.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, I value maintaining my board-certified status and staying up to date with the most current literature and treatment protocols to ensure that I provide the best care for our patients.

Originally from Denton, I now reside in Dallas with my husband, Brad, and our son, Brooks, who arrived in October 2024. We love our crazy German Shorthaired Pointer named Fitzhugh (“Fitz” for short).

When I’m not at work, I love spending time outdoors with my family, working out, cooking and trying new recipes, and traveling when we get the chance. I also dabble in interior design, antiquing, and estate sales, and can always be found rooting for the Texas Longhorns (Hook 'Em!)!

I enjoy giving back to the community and take any opportunity I can to serve others by sharing my time and talents. In addition to volunteering locally through my church, I’m involved with Mission Arlington to provide dental care to children from low-income families in the community.
